Personal background: I come from a family of eight, with 17 nieces and nephews. Six of my seven siblings have earned college degrees and my brother, Paul, has been a high school history teacher for 27 years. Also, my maternal grandfather, John Dwyer, was born and raised in southern Ireland. My father, Mike, was a longtime journalist and once met John F. Kennedy, before JFK became president. My mother, Noreen, before raising eight children, once worked for the Saturday Evening Post.
Interests: Baseball (huge Phillies fan!), weight training, snowboarding, reading, photography.
